We are JustTravellers!

Hello, travellers 👋

We’re just travellers.

Sharing our attempt to understand the world by experiencing it with our own eyes — the good, the bad, and the slightly odd bits in between.

Our story, in our own words

It’s all about sharing our attempt to understand the world by experiencing it with our own eyes. Here — and on multiple platforms — we talk about our experiences, the good and the bad, and we have an opinion on most things, which we are more than happy to share.

In other words, you won’t get a complete travel guide to countries or cities, but rather a story with an edge about what we’ve seen and learned — so you can use it for inspiration, or simply for (hopefully) enjoyable reading.

A particular focus is on gastronomy, as we are restaurateurs ourselves and draw a lot of inspiration from our travels.

Right now, we travel as much as possible from November to March each year — you can read all about it by exploring destinations or checking out our blogs, where we share everything from rants and praises to odd observations and quirky facts.

We don’t pretend to travel the “right” way. We are far from perfect, and not everything we experience is positive or well-planned.

We are just travellers. Enjoy!
What to expect

Honest stories, not glossy guides

👀

Seen with our own eyes

No recycled tourist board copy — every recommendation comes from places we actually visited and meals we actually ate.

🍽️

A gastronomy obsession

As restaurateurs ourselves, food gets special attention. Both the standout meals and the ones we’d rather forget.

Opinions included

Rants, praises and quirky observations. If something was great we say so — and when it wasn’t, we say that too.

🎒

Not the “right” way

We’re far from perfect, and not everything is well-planned. That’s kind of the point — stories with an edge, not polished brochures.

Where to next?

Dive into a destination, or browse the blog for the bits that didn’t fit anywhere else — the rants, the raves, and the quirky facts.
